Our pools and floats are made for relaxed summer days, but water safety always comes first. Please read the safety information below before using any &SUNDAY pool or inflatable product.
Important warning
WARNING: Children have drowned in portable swimming pools.
Ensure active adult supervision at all times. Do not leave children unsupervised in or around the pool. Keep children within arm’s reach.
For portable pools capable of holding water 300mm deep or more, pool fencing laws may apply. Please consult your local government authority for fencing requirements.
Active adult supervision
Children must be actively supervised by a responsible adult whenever they are in or near water. Active supervision means giving children your full attention. It does not mean checking in occasionally from nearby.
- Stay within arm’s reach of young children at all times.
- Do not leave children in the care of older siblings or other children.
- Avoid distractions such as phones, cooking, entertaining or stepping away “just for a minute”.
- If you need to leave the pool area, take children with you.
Portable pool safety
Even shallow water can be dangerous. Drowning can happen quickly and quietly, including in small inflatable or portable pools.
- Always place the pool on a flat, stable surface.
- Do not use the pool on concrete, hard surfaces, slopes, balconies or elevated areas.
- Keep the pool away from furniture or objects that children could climb on to access the water.
- Empty smaller pools immediately after use.
- Store pools safely away from children when not in use.
- Do not allow the pool to collect rainwater or sprinkler water when stored.
Inflatable float safety
Inflatable floats, tubes and loungers are not lifesaving devices and should never be used as a substitute for swimming ability or adult supervision.
- Use only under active adult supervision.
- Do not use in strong wind, currents, surf or rough water.
- Do not overinflate.
- Check for damage before each use.
- Keep away from sharp objects, heat, flames and pets.
- Do not jump onto inflatables from height.
Before use
- Read all warnings and instructions supplied with your product.
- Make sure the product is fully inflated and securely sealed before use.
- Check that the area is clear of hazards.
- Use only as intended.
After use
- Remove children from the water area before emptying, cleaning or packing away.
- Empty portable pools after use, especially small pools.
- Allow products to dry fully before storing.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of young children.
