&SUNDAY began in 2018, on a family holiday in Hawaii.
While spending time by the pool, I kept noticing the same thing everywhere: bright, novelty-style inflatables that didn’t feel beautiful, considered or made to last.
At the time, we were building a pool at our home in Auckland, New Zealand, so I started searching online for something simple, chic and good quality.
I couldn’t find it, so my husband Darryl and I decided to make it ourselves.
We started with pool tubes, designing pieces that felt more refined than what was available at the time. Less novelty, more style. Less disposable, more considered.
The name &SUNDAY reflects the feeling behind the brand: slow days, time outside, friends around, kids in the pool, food on the table and everything feeling relaxed, but still beautiful.
Today, &SUNDAY has grown into a small collection of design-led lifestyle pieces for pool days, beach days, weekends away and everyday family life.
We are still a small family-run business, and we like it that way.
At its heart, &SUNDAY is about beautiful, useful pieces for good days well spent.
